bianet is Monitoring Male Violence
IPS / bianet keeps account of the stream of male violence that is reported in news agencies, national and local media every day to lay bare the extent of violence against women.

Combating Sexist and Discriminatory Language in News: New Opportunities in 'Good Journalism'
IPS Communication Foundation/bianet, as part of the “Early Warning System for Combating Fake News and Hate Speech” (SAHNE) project by the Turkey Europe Foundation, has prepared a report titled “Hate Speech in the Turkish Print Media” and a mini guide titled "How would bianet report it?" to promote good journalism.
Rights-Based Journalism in Electoral Periods
Workshops were held at Atölye BİA on December 11-14, 2023 within the scope of the "The Rights-based Journalism in Electoral Periods" project, financially supported by Oslo Metropolitan University (Journalism and Media International Center, JMIC) and Reporters Without Borders (RSF).
ATÖLYE BİA
Atölye BİA, run by IPS Communication Foundation/bianet, organizes workshops for journalists, unemployed journalists, communication faculty students and anyone who wants to do journalism in order to promote rights-based journalism.
Etkiniz EU Program: Election Journalism Monitoring Guide
IPS Communication Foundation / bianet received European Union financial support for the "Election Journalism Monitoring Guide" project in May 2023 under the Etkiniz EU program.

The MOM is globally implemented and published with a local partner organization in each country, in the case of Turkey the bianet/IPS Communication Foundation.
Resilience
IPS Communication Foundation / bianet, SEENPM, Albanian Media Institute, Mediacentar Sarajevo, Kosovo 2.0, Montenegrin Media Institute, Macedonian Institute for Media, Novi Sad School of Journalism, Peace Institute were partner organizations in the three-year (2020-2023) project titled “RESILIENCE: Civil society action to reaffirm media freedom and counter disinformation and hateful propaganda in Western Balkans and Turkey”

“Ten Years of Freedom of Expression - II is a continuation and complementary book "Ten Years of Freedom of Expression 2001-2011" published in 2012. It documents the continuities and ruptures between these two ten-year periods.

Bianet Media Monitoring Database
The Media Monitoring Database supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), Heinrich Böll Stiftung and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) aims at monitoring and reporting violations of freedom of expression towards the media employees and organizations in Turkey.
Our Media
IPS Communication Foundation/bianet is one of the partners of the "Our Media" project, which is funded by the European Union and will be active from 2023 to 2025.
