Turkey reports 1,858 new coronavirus cases, seven deaths in a day
More than 1,500 people recovered from the disease in 24 hours, according to the ministry.

The Ministry of Health reported 1,858 new coronavirus cases and 7 deaths yesterday (May 9).
Some 134,646 people were tested for the virus and 1,511 people recovered from the disease in 24 hours.
Over 85 percent of the country's adult population have received at least two doses of the coronavirus vaccine with 27.7 million people receiving at least three jabs, according to the ministry figures.
As the number of new cases has been on the decrease, the government on April 26 lifted the indoor mask mandate except for public transport vehicles and health institutions. (VK)
