Director, actor, and screenwriter Yılmaz Güney's conviction for the murder of Judge Sefa Mutlu is once again a matter of debate. The family lawyer Bişar Abdi Alınak has made an application for the opening of Mutlu's grave. Speaking to bianet, Alınak points out the existence of information hidden from the public until now and argues that the court's conviction of Güney for the crime of intentional murder was erroneous.
