Life expectancy at birth decreases in Turkey
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute data, life expectancy at birth in Turkey was 77.7 years between 2019-2021, and it decreased to 77.5 between 2020-2022. This data is recorded as the lowest in the last 10 years. It was also observed that women live 5.5 years longer than men.
