A prisoner in Şakran Prison wanted to send his drawing to bianet. “We want a fair trial” was written on the drawing. But the prison administration censored it. When the prisoner wanted to write to bianet about this censorship, it was censored as well.

‘Why am I on a death fast? Because I selfishly think of myself!’

On a death fast for his right to a fair trial, prisoner Karakaya has sent a letter to bianet: “I am thinking of myself and talking about myself with utterly ‘selfish’ feelings. I decided to go on a death fast by thinking of myself.”
