64.2 percent of Turkey’s society says ‘woman's main duty isn’t childcare, housework’

According to the 2021 Family Structure Survey of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), housework was mostly undertaken by women, childcare with 94.4 percent, laundry with 85.6 percent and cooking with 85.4 percent.
