Thanks to the efforts of the Revolutionary "78'ers" Federation, after 26 years the farewell letter of Erdoğan Yazgan was taken from the military archives and finally given to Yazgan's family. Yazgan had been executed on 29 January 1983 <fter the military coup in 1980.
