Youth Employment Increases: 21.1%
As of July 2017, the number of unemployed has climbed to 3,443,000. The unemployment rate has hiked by 0.5% compared to June. The youth unemployment rate has been announced as 21.1%.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the July 2017 unemployment stats.
According to the stats, the unemployment rate marked 10.7% in July, which was 10.2% in June and 10.7% in July in previous year.
Seeing an increase of 119,000 people, the number of unemployed became 3,443,000.
Youth unemployment
Non-agricultural unemployment was estimated as 13% in July.
The unemployment rate marked 21.1% in youth population with an increase of 1.3%, and this figure reached 10.9% with an increase of 0.1% in age group of 15-64.
