Video News – Joy of Syrians after Set a Foot on Greece

Serdar Değirmencioğlu told bianet what Syrian refugees had lived through while taking shelter in Lesbos (Mytilini) Island on August 19, 2015. The journey by boats on the sea goes on. This time Değirmencioğlu, videotaped the moment when a boat full of Syrians came to Skala Skaminias bay.

It is seen from the video that the boat is over capacity. The boat which started the journey from Çanakkale province of Turkey in Marmara region landed in Greece and Syrian refugees jumped into the water with joy since they lived through a dangerous voyage. (SD/HK)
