Urfa Governorship has banned rallies, statements for the press and protest demonstrations until January 31.

Urfa Governorship has banned rallies, statements for the press and protest demonstrations for 30 days.
According to the announcement of the governorship, “all events other than the ones to be carried out by local administrative organs, public institutions and universities” were banned.
The ban will end on January 31, 2018.
The governorship based its decision on State of Emergency Law and the Law on Demonstration Marches. (EC/AS/TK)
