Türkiye reports over over 45,000 new Covid cases, 209 deaths in a week
The number of new cases has significantly decreased in the past month, according to the official figures.

The Ministry of Health reported 48,882 new coronavirus cases and 209 deaths in the week between August 22 and 28.
Some 447,132 people recovered from the disease in a week, according to the data.
A week before, 80,020 new cases were found and 231 people died of Covid-19
The country's official death toll reached 100,840, with a total of nearly 16.8 million cases.
At the start of June, the ministry switched to publishing Covid updates on a weekly rather than a daily basis.
