Sixty-six people, including journalists, detained in police raids in six cities

Police raided several homes this morning (April 15) in the mostly Kurdish-populated provinces of Diyarbakır, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Urfa, , Bitlis and Batman, as well as in İstanbul, detaining at least 66 people.
The detainees include Kadri Esen, the rights holder of Xwebûn, a Kurdish-language newspaper, and journalist Ali Koçer, Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reported.
The Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had ordered the detention of the people as part of an investigation, according to the report. (EMK/VK)
