Police Suspended from Duty in FETÖ Investigation Commits Suicide
Detained as part of the FETÖ investigation, a police officer aged 42 has ended his life.

Police officer Hakkı Topal, who was serving at Çorum Provincial Security Directorate and was detained within the scope of the operations launched following July 15 coup attempt into the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ), has committed suicide.
Body of Topal (42), father of two, was found in the forestry near Seydim Pond.
The investigation as to the incident is ongoing.
According to reports covered in media, with the suicide of Topal the number of people who committed/allegedly committed suicide has risen to 15 since the coup attempt.
Seven of them reportedly committed suicide in or during custody. (EKN/TK)
