Lawsuit against writer Yavuz Ekinci for social media posts on Newroz, Kobanî battle
The writer faces a lawsuit because of tweets he posted in 2013 and 2014.

Writer Yavuz Ekinci has said that a lawsuit has been filed against him for his Twitter posts in 2013 and 2014.
The tweets subject to the lawsuit were about the Newroz celebrations in Diyarbakır and the 2014 battle Kobanî between ISIS and Kurdish groups in Syria's Kobanî, he said on Twitter yesterday (August 24).
The first hearing of the case will be held on September 9 at the İstanbul 34th Heavy Penal Court, he said. (KÖ/VK)
