HDP MP Ayşe Acar Başaran Detained

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Ayşe Acar Başaran has been detained at Batman Airport.

It was reported that a detention warrant was issued for Acar Başaran on the ground that she didn’t give a statement about a trial and she was detained for this reason. Acar Başaran was taken to Batman Courthouse.

There are 10 HDP MPs and one Republican People’s Party (CHP) MP behind bars. (ÇT/TK)
