HDP Kadıköy District Co-Chair Gül Demir Detained

Police have raided Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Kadıköy District building in İstanbul.

Following a search of four hours, HDP District Co-Chair Gül Demir has been taken into custody.

As Gül Demir was taken to Sahrayicedid Police Station in Kadıköy, it was stated that there is a detention warrant for the other Co-Chair Ercan Demir.

Police seized some document and hard-disks in the district building. (EKN/TK)
