Forest fire breaks out in Ankara
Firefighters have yet to control the fire in the capital.

A fire broke out yesterday (August 30) in the Eymir Neighborhood in Nallıhan district of Ankara.
Starting in the grasslands near Beyalan village, the fire spread to the forest due to the wind and reached the vicinity of Yeşilyurt village, the Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
The Forest Management Directorate dispatched firefighters and water tenders to the area. Supported by helicopters, firefighting efforts are still underway. (TP/VK)
