Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chair Devlet Bahçeli, an ally of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has complained about the high inflation rate and high living costs in the country.
However, he said, apparently targeting the opposition, those who "make political propaganda" over price hikes do not have "good intentions."
"Our state and government are in control of all matters," he said.
Bahçeli also dismissed the recent opinion polls, most of which indicate a decline in his party's popular support. "Those who want to discredit the MHP will be defeated in 2023", he said. (AS/VK)
