Eight Members of Same Family Killed in Adana
Eight family members, three of them children, have been found dead in an apartment in Adana.
When midwife Nalan Yüksel did not come to work and did not answer her mobile or home phones, her colleagues thought that she might have been poisoned by a faulty boiler and called the fire fighters and an ambulance.
However, the fire fighters who arrived at the scene called the police after finding eight bodies, three of them children in the apartment.
According to the police, 38-year-old Murat Yüksel, a brother of the midwife, had killed her, her two sons (aged 17 and 19), her father and mother, a brother, his wife and their son.
Two of the victims are said to have been strangled, while the other six were shot. According to Ntvmsnbc.com, the suspect has admitted committing the murders. (EZÖ/AG)
