Demirtaş: HDP Should Come Out to Field

Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (HDP) imprisoned former co-chair and presidential candidate for June 24 elections Selahattin Demirtaş has penned an article about June 24 presidential elections.
In his article published on ANF, Demirtaş criticized opposition’s attitude it maintained following June 24 elections and criticized HDP as well:
“Restricting all struggle to entirely de-functionalized parliament is exactly what AKP-MHP fascist bloc desires. For this reason, forming much stronger bonds with the grassroots is of vital importance.
“A movement that cannot embrace its own values cannot stand. The HDP should quit this ‘vacation’ mood and come out to field”.
