Conflict in Siirt claims the lives of 2 special operations police officers
Interior Ministry has announced that two members of the Police Special Operations team, who were critically wounded in a conflict in eastern Siirt province, have lost their lives.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, a conflict ensued in an operation in Pervari district of Turkey's eastern Siirt province.
While the operation was launched by the Siirt Gendarmerie Command, four members of the Police Special Operations team were wounded in the conflict in Değirmentaşı Tepe area of Siirt yesterday (July 15).
The wounded police officers were referred to the Şırnak Military Hospital after the incident. Critically wounded in the conflict, two special operations police officers have lost their lives despite all efforts of medical teams. (TP/SD)
