Collective agreement at Presidency of Religious Affairs
Overtime pay will be increased by 100 percent for all titles of preachers for the days they work on national holidays and public holidays. Overtime pay during Ramadan will also be increased by 100 percent and the collective bargaining bonus will be paid on a monthly basis.

The Diyanet-Sen union, affiliated with the Public Workers Unions Confederation (Memur-Sen), has reached an agreement in collective bargaining with the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
According to the agreement announced on Diyanet-Sen's social media accounts:
Overtime pay for preachers of all titles who work on national holidays and public holidays will be increased by 100 percent for the days they work.
Overtime pay during the month of Ramadan will also be doubled with a 100 percent increase.
A collective bargaining bonus will be paid on a monthly basis.
Some other provisions of the collective agreement are as follows:
- The additional payments made to contracted religious personnel will be increased by 5 points.
- The payments for 15 hours of extra lessons in a week in the summer Qu'ran courses will be increased to 20 hours.
- All public employees covered by the collective agreement who reach the 1st degree will make use of the 3600 addition indicator.
- Amendments will be made in the Law no.4688 regarding the Public Employees Unions and Collective Agreements. (RT/PE)
