A mine worker in the southeastern province of Şırnak was accidentally shot dead by the mine's guards, Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reported.
After noticing whom they shot, the guards rushed the worker, Osman Posar, to Şırnak State Hospital, but could not prevent his death.
A legal investigation into the incident has been initiated, and the guards responsible for the accidental shooting have been taken into custody. (NT/VK)
