Justice and Development Party (AKP) Düzce Youth Section Board member Mehmet Aybek has shared his photo with an MP5 machine gun with the message “Chief tell us to shoot we shoot, tell us to die we die” following Justice March launched by the CHP.
Aybek removed this photo after six hours of posting it.
The MP5 guns were subjected to a trial concerning an armed injury incident that took place in Ankara in the previous days. According to a report published by Hürriyet daily on May 8, 2017, the suspect had given a statement that “The gun was distributed in front of Ankara Police Station on July 15 coup attempt night”.
