Academic on Trial for Sexual Assault Dismissed
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has announced that academic H.B. is "dismissed from public service."

Prof. Dr. H.B. from Ankara University is on trial for perpetrating sexual assault against his colleague Ç.B., a veterinary physician who works at the veterinary hospital owned by him.
The YÖK announced today (July 5) in a written statement that it dismissed H.B. from public service in a unanimous decision as a result of a disciplinary investigation.
H.B. was arrested by a court in April the case against him. He requested his retirement from the university after being released in June, which was accepted. (EMK/VK)
