5 Websites Blocked in a Day
Presidency of Telecommunication blocked access to five news websites in a day.
Presidency of Telecommunication and Communication (TİB) blocked five news websites; siyasihaber.org, jiyan.org, garzanhaber.org, sendika6.org and direnisteyiz1.org.
The list of blocked websites is here. It includes 103 thousand 876 websites as of today.
On October 24, journalist Hayri Tunç from the news website jiyan.org had been detained by special operations team due to his tweets and news. After the two days of detention, Tunç was released.
On the same day, jiyan.org was blocked to access by TİB. (NV/BD)
