1 Soldier Killed in Diyarbakır

One soldier has lost his life in the attack launched on a military base in Diyarbakır’s Silvan district.
The state-run Anadolu Agency reported that the attack was launched by a rocket launcher by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members, claiming life of a soldier and wounding six others.
Yüksekova News reported that six soldiers were wounded and one of them lost his life as he was taken into a hospital.
The wounded soldiers were taken to Selahaddin Eyyubü State Hospital in Diyarbakır.
An air support operation has been commenced in the area. (YY/TK)
